[...] Important new development number one: As recently predicted, the new-look Recruiting.com is now running a few innocuous banner ads, with more to come. And, why not? God forbid someone should make enough dosh blogging to pay the bills. I have already asked for a media kit so I can forward the information to potential advertisers, thinking even candidates might want to pay the freight for such marvelous exposure. [...]

Unfortunately usually those who are designated "thought leaders" ( by WHOM?) are generally the very people you should least listen to if you want the real scoop on things. The people who are really in the know are generally too busy putting their knowledge into practice to blather on about it.

Go figure.

PS. Love the post Amitai. I'd nominate you to Thought Leadership status but you are way to smart for that.

Hi Ami. Great Post. I actually applied for a position with Jobster about a year ago feeling that Jason Goldberg was creating just the kind of company that I wanted to be part of. I never heard a peep - nothing - crickets... not Jobster material I guess.

You - you write one post and MINUTES later Jason himself links to you on the Jobster blog - http://jobster.blogs.com/blog_dot_jobster_dot_com/2006/07/r_e_s_p_e_c_t.html. So tell me. What do you got that I don't got? LOL

I know you aren't looking for work - but great job...great job.

Shannon ;-)
