Hi, Yvonne:

As bloggers I'm not sure we could more different in our content and tone and yet I don't know if we could be more alike in our approaching this blogging thing with a joy for it. I know you are a person of integrity. Those things are obvious in our communications, and for everyone to see in your post. The post had a good many views and now I hope a few comments to develop the thread now too.

It's been such a very long day. You two trading humor makes it human again.

I took no offense to "Comments Off." Actually, I thought to myself, 'Oh, that must be a means of getting more traffic to the site. People will think it's a mistake and just keep coming back to try to comment at a later time, and keep coming back, and keep coming back, and ...' I saw the humor in it. I thought I learned a blog traffic lesson. Drat. Now I have to start all over again.

Thanks for the lovely repartee -- and for re-publishing, Ami.

Shannon! This post was not directed at you! Is it bad enough I have egg on my face without you adding hot sauce!

Anyway, another favor now. If you ever see me with a disabled comment again please check to see if my blog has been hijacked by vindictive political bloggers or to see if I have just completely lost my mind. You know how I feel about "the comments enable the post." ;0)

Hi Ami: I am getting ready to make some of your requested changes to your site. Sorry that it has taken me so long - the first week of the new gig has been hectic!

It's funny - Yvonne and I spoke about the comments being disabled on your post - and I just assumed that you meant to do it - never expected it to be a mistake. I will try to help with the technology as much as I can!
