How out of synch are employers with the next-generation workforce when our schools are so out of synch with their students?
In the same way as brick-and-mortar schools can barely contain a wireless generation how well are they preparing them for future jobs the likes of which we haven’t imagined yet?

How many entry-level job descriptions read like they were scratched out on chalkboards, the required skills, competencies, attitudes and what-have-you reminiscent of workplaces that predate Google?
If this video was a high school project some mom would be proud. To me, however, it’s just bland garbage. When I was a kid they had a different supposedly profound catch-phrase. “Do not fold spindle or mutilate.” What on earth did that mean? Nothing. Listen, everything will be better when they invent a maturity pill. Because very few people are built to do productive complaining as opposed to whining like this.

I liked the video because of the questions it raises. If you can address those questions — however bland the video — it will have served a useful purpose, no?
